What's new?

We’re just getting the winter catalogue put together after a very successful photo-shoot where neither the heat-wave nor the gale force storms that were promised bothered us. Our winter catalogue will be available from 23rd August with lots of brand new products and new colourways of old favourites, so if you haven’t already registered to get one, click here to give us your details. You really don't want to miss the new range of products that have been lovingly put together for you!

Your favourite Regatta Fleece Jacket which was only available in Navy or Royal Blue will soon be available in 8 colours including the Red version shown. You may also just be able to make out a T-shirt under the fleece which we will also be selling in the 4 colours that you can’t be without – white, black, navy and grey marl. We’ll have all your basic leisure wardrobe elements covered including our short sleeve polo and long sleeve polo, so no need to shop anywhere else.

I can't wait to give you more product spoilers – I hope that you are excited as we all are here at Jolliman.

Action Trousers in Route 66

We received a fantastic email from a customer this week which is a ringing endorsement of the Regatta Action Trouser. Here is a slightly shortened version of what Mr Roger L. Wood had to say to us.

Earlier this year I purchased 2 pairs of Regatta Action Trousers for £30. What an excellent buy they were! Winter Photo-Shoot

It’s been a busy week at Jolliman as we prepare to jet off (well drive) to Devon for our Winter photo-shoot. It seems like only yesterday that we finished the Summer shoot in snow and rain and now we’re off to shoot Winter in a heat-wave!

I’m taking a camera this time to try to capture some of the feeling of the shoot and hopefully we'll get something that we can add to the blog to give you a taste of what we do to ensure that we get the best images possible on the site.

We had a great time at our fitting session with our 2 new models, Paul and Mark. It was great to see how good the new Autumn/Winter lines look and now we just have to keep our fingers crossed that you like them as much as we do.

We’re introducing new Knitwear to supplement our classic Tootal knitwear range and a selection of new jackets from casual to formal. We’re keeping some of the more interesting new lines a secret so that we can surprise you! Well everyone loves a surprise don’t they?

Back to the DIY & Gardening

With England out of the World Cup there’s no excuse not to get on with all of those DIY and Gardening jobs that you’ve been putting off. We can’t do anything to help you get over the sorry display from our boys, but we can help you get those jobs done a bit quicker and in style!

Round the Island Race

Well that’s it for me this week as I’m off to the Isle of Wight for the Round the Island Race. Suitably attired with my Panama Hat, to ensure that I don’t end up the colour of a beetroot, my Activity Gilet, for my camera bits and bobs, and my Regatta Zip Off Trousers I’m raring to go!

It’s an early start, so the Zip off trousers are ideal for the journey over to the island at 4am as I am sure that there’ll be a nip in the air. Then as soon as the sun’s up I can whip the legs off and enjoy the sun on my pins. Teamed with one of our Regatta Polo shirts I’ll be looking stylish and feeling cool and calm.

Cryptic cartoons

We have a mystery cartoon artist keeping us all amused at the Jolliman office this week. We can only assume that it is a happy customer who wants to return some of the joy that we’ve given them!

In the post this week we have received 2 pictures cut from a newspaper with someone’s comic musings added. No other messages contained and no name given. We’re all on tenterhooks waiting for the next instalment and debating whether they are publishable or not!
